SA Emergency Services Blood Drive 2023

The Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, SA Emergency Services Blood Drive is an annual competition where Emergency Service agencies across South Australia compete to donate blood during the winter months.
Australia’s blood supply comes under pressure during the winter as many regular donors become sidelined with colds and flu.
You can come to the rescue. Giving blood takes only one hour of your time and it can save up to three lives.
SASES volunteers and staff are encouraged to join the “SA State Emergency Service (SES)” team and donate blood before 31 August to have their donation count towards the SES tally. To join our Lifeblood team, add us when you enrol or visit the Lifeblood Group Donation webpage.
SASES volunteers can download, print and display the following posters at their SES unit.

Members of the public can't join our lifeblood team but are encouraged to also make blood donations of their own during winter. Together we can really make an impact.
