Emergency Management

State Emergency Service (SES) Disaster Management Services provides leadership in relation to emergency management training and planning across South Australia. This includes advice and assistance in the preparation and exercising of emergency management plans at state, zone and local levels.

SES Disaster Management Services and SES Regions work closely with a wide range of community, local government and other agencies to raise the level of awareness in relation to disaster prevention, preparedness, response and recovery. Through a greater appreciation of emergency risk mitigation, and support in the implementation of planned treatment strategies, community resilience is enhanced.
